Q: What is your title at eta College?
A: Regional Manager at eta Pretoria Campus
Q: What is your role at eta College?
- My role is to lead an excellent team of employees to achieve specific targets. I develop and implement an operational plan which incorporates goals and objectives that aligns to the strategic direction of eta College.
- I ensure that the service, programme delivery and study experience meets the expectations of our students and parents.
- I Oversee the efficient and effective day-to-day operation of the regional and international campuses. Also do the planning and organizing of all the regional and international marketing activities.
Q: How long have you been involved with eta College?
A: 11 years
Q: What led you to working in the Fitness industry?
A: Sport is part of my DNA, I always enjoyed participating in various sporting codes when I was younger and decided to make my passion for sport my career.
Q: What would you say has been your greatest accomplishment at eta?
A: My great accomplishment would be that I (with the help of my team) took eta Pretoria to be the biggest eta Campus in 2016 and 2017.
Q: What has eta Pretoria learnt this year?
A: It might sound like a cliché but “when the going gets tough the tough get going”. eta Pretoria has an amazing team with an awesome organizational culture and we are always there for each other!
Q: Who is your greatest role model?
A: Roger Federer
Q: What’s your favourite qualification at eta?
A: The Advanced Certificate in Fitness ( but I can wait of our degree programme to be approved)
A: This qualification is on a NQF 6 and can be achieved after your completion of a higher certificate which is a one year programme. This qualification will give you sufficient knowledge and competencies to work in most areas of the fitness industry. The qualification gives the graduate great earning potential and access to post graduate qualifications at a higher NQF level.
Q: Where do you hope to see eta Pretoria in 5 years?
A: I would like to see eta Pretoria as still the biggest campus, which produces the most competent entrepreneurs within the sport and fitness industry in South Africa.
